The SA-SFT supports the 21-inch wide screen UXGA is employed. The 12-bit Gamma Correction function is capable of reproducing smooth expressions in multi-gradations. With "the Super 16.77 million colours function", it is possible to display about 16.77 million colours, which are optimum for its Gamma property among the total displayed colours of about 67,967.23 million. This panel has features where the colour tones will not change if the angle between the viewer’s eyes and the panel surface changes (viewing from an angled position), but also where the response speed of motion pictures will not be delayed when displaying half tones. This is a new video standard monitor sought by professionals, which is adjusted one-by-one at the factory according to the respective characteristics.

In order for professionals in the graphics industry to pursue the highest vividness, the LCD2190UXi is equipped with the SA-SFT LCD panel, which is generally used in higher grade models. The SA-SFT features not only colour tones that do not change at all when the angle between the viewer’s eyes and the panel surface changes (viewing from an angled position), but also that the response for motion pictures is not delayed when displaying half tones. It is also possible to reconcile the high brightness and wide colour reproducible area. Furthermore, not only the brightness but also the Gamma property and unevenness of display are adjusted individually at the factory, so deviations in quality have been minimized as much as possible.

The dedicated shading hood reduces the influence of the environmental lights.
By using this product, it is possible to reduce reflections from environmental lights, such as fluorescent lamps, on the screen. The window is provided on the top side, so that the monitor can be calibrated when this product is mounted.
- An adapter (optional) may be required to connect the display to an Apple computer. Confirm the shape of the connector on your Apple computer. No adapter is required to connect a model with the 15pin Mini D-sub VGA connector.
