Features
By employing the IPS LCD panel, the display has been expanded to a size that had not been possible before, for a significant improvement in working efficiency.
With the 30-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) wide + high definition screen, overwhelming expression capability that had not been possible before has been materialized. A lot of information can be displayed on the screen simultaneously without scrolling the screen. It is also possible to display the tool pallet or multiple windows without overlapping each other. By employing the IPS method wide LCD panel, the monitor has superior expression capabilities, for instance colour tones may not change at all while viewing from an angle, so that working efficiency can be improved dramatically. This monitor is the optimum solution for creative video editing, graphics, CAD and DTP as expressions and ideas are not cut off.
Colour Feedback System
With the built-in colour sensor, unstable brightness and chromaticity immediately after turning on the power are compensated automatically to make them stable within several minutes. Changes in brightness due to changes with the passage of time will also be compensated to keep brightness stable.
Materializing a wide colour gamut of 107% to Adobe® RGB and 102% to NTSC
The colour gamut of the ordinary CRT monitor appreciated by professionals is mainly 72% to NTSC.
The LCD3090WQXi materializes a colour gamut of 107% to Adobe® RGB and 102% to NTSC, which largely surpasses that for the CRT monitor. The monitor is capable of reproducing precisely original colours contained in Adobe® RGB data and exhibits superior performance responding to the strict requirements of professional production sites requiring highly accurate colour reproducibility.
Self-Calibration function
On the LCD3090WQXi, the calibration software is incorporated into the main unit, so that calibration of the Gamma property, the white point and the brightness can be executed by simply connecting to the external USB sensor* without a PC.

Copy Calibration function
The copy calibration function, useful in a multi-display environment, is employed. It is possible to obtain the measured values (white point, brightness) from other monitors obtained with the external sensor and copy the values to the LCD3090WQXi.

The two-system input capable of connecting two PCs
Two connectors, the DVI-D connector capable of inputting signals from a PC in Digital to Digital mode, and the DVI-I connector capable of inputting either analogue or digital signals. Both of the input connectors support the copyright protection system, HDCP and the Dual Link.
The Stand Height Adjustment function
The unique stand and slim supports are applied. With the Stand Height Adjustment function raising/lowering the height of the monitor up to 190 mm, the monitor can be set at a visible position for the user or as necessary for the use environments.

Shading hood

The dedicated shading hood reduces the influence of the environmental lights.
By using this product, it is possible to reduce reflections from environmental lights, such as fluorescent lamps, on the screen. The window is provided on the top side, so that the monitor can be calibrated when this product is mounted.
- An adapter (optional) may be required to connect the display to an Apple computer. Confirm the shape of the connector on your Apple computer. No adapter is required to connect a model with the 15pin Mini D-sub VGA connector.
