NEC 's LT265 and LT245 projectors support high-speed wireless LAN and wired LAN to make them the optimum projector for business presentations, conferences, education, and training. The projectors have advanced functions such as the 3D Reform and Automatic Vertical Keystone Correction, the Wall Colour Correction and substantial security functions. Furthermore, brightness and image quality have been improved and the lifetime of the lamp has been extended.

Rich Wireless LAN functions
High-speed, high-quality image transfer in a wireless environment
With the dedicated software attached to the projector and the wireless LAN card (option), images on the PC display can be projected without connecting cables. The projectors support IEEE802.11g in addition to the ordinary IEEE802.11b.
Smoother image projection has been achieved by the unique compression method developed by NEC. The projectors support wired LAN with integrated RJ-45 connector.
 
 
Images are transmitted from a PC to a single projector
With the unique compression method newly developed by NEC, high quality images can be transmitted at a transfer rate that is three times faster than our ordinary product.
In presentations, images on the screen move smoothly without deterioration of characters and image quality.
Images are transmitted from a PC to multiple projectors simultaneously
Images can be transmitted from a PC to not only one projector but also multiple projectors without using a distributor.
Images transmitted from a PC to the Projector can be monitored with other PCs
A presenter can transmit images to not only the projector but also participants' PCs. For a presentation in a large conference room, participants can confirm details of the projected images, such as small characters, etc., with their own PCs and a presenter. You can distribute files or documents used in the presentation through the network.
Projected images can be stored in memory and notes can be added in a text field.
In addition to viewing the projected images on your own PC, you can also store the images on your PC. Since some marginal space is available, you can take notes or provide the minutes of meeting.
A presenter (a PC transmitting images to the projector) can be switched
With an ordinary projector, it is necessary to reconnect the RGB cables when the presenter changes. Conversely, this projector can change presenters with a single operation. The person who wants to speak can send images from his/her PC to the projector just by clicking the "Become a Presenter" button.
Easy configuration of the system after the second time
You can store previous setting so that you can connect the projector again for the same setting simply by double-clicking the icon on the desktop after the second time.
An easy installer can install the software by using USB memory, etc., without a CD-ROM
Although a CD-ROM containing the dedicated software attached to the projector is not available, the required data can be fetched into USB memory or a PC card etc., if it is stored in a PC, and install them on other PCs. Thus, you can be released from the inconvenience of bringing a CD-ROM.
Training mode
An administrator (a teacher) can switch images on the participants' (students') PCs to be projected on a screen. With the Training mode, a single PC can control PCs that project images onto a screen. You can switch the PCs that project image or pause communication with the projector.
Controlling a PC from the projector remotely
You can operate the screen of a PC located remotely with a USB mouse connected to the projector.
You can select the PC's screen from the projector. You can project presentation documents from the projector without bringing a PC into a conference room, or operate a PC remotely.

Easier installation, Advanced 3D Reform
Trapezoidal distortions of images projected from an angled position can easily be corrected by combining the ordinary 3D Reform function and the automatic vertical keystone correction function.

When an image is projected from the left

  1. The projector senses its vertical inclination and corrects projected images automatically. (Automatic keystone correction)With this operation, both the right and left sides of the projected image can be corrected to an almost right angle.
  2. Then align the shorter side of the image on the left to a frame of the screen.
  3. When you press the "Horizontal" key of the "Keystone Correction Menu", you can adjust the longer side of the image to make both the top and bottom sides parallel to obtain a square image.Since the ordinary keystone correction function using the 4-point correction method is also available, you can choose either method-whichever is easier to correct images depending on the projection environment.
The Auto Wall Colour Correction projects vivid images even if a screen is not available.
When you project images directly onto a blackboard in a classroom, they are tinged with green due to influences from the blackboard. Since colour data for projection on a blackboard or other coloured walls previously were built into the projector, colour tones of images projected onto a blackboard approach that of ones on a white screen if the "Blackboard mode" is selected. Other than this mode, you can select seven colour options according to the colours of the walls of an office, school or partitions.
USB Storage using commercially available USB memory
Enhance the viewer and security features of the projector with commercially available USB memory. Connect a USB memory card reader with the projector and use a memory card to manage data or as a protection key.

Security Function
The Key Lock function disables the operation buttons so the unit can only be operated via the remote control. Password protection prevents changes to the settings* and the PC card authentication settings prevent anyone from using the projector without authorization, which is effective for preventing theft. Improper operation by students in a classroom can also be prevented.

The Control Panel Key Lock function prevents unauthorized changes in the settings.
For instance, in order to prevent changes in the settings by students when it is used in a classroom, you can lock the control keys so that the operation buttons will be disabled even if they are operated. (In this case, the projector can be operated with a remote controller.)
