The software is not included with the projector and must be downloaded separately. Great care has been taken to ensure that the software will work properly. Before using the software, read the ReadMe file which provides notes and operation procedures. Overview

The Geometric Correction Tool 3.0 (hereafter called " the software ") corrects geometrical distortion of an image projected onto a special shaped screen such as a cylindrical screen, and a spherical screen from an NEC projector. This program allows you to control the projector via a computer (hereafter called " PC ").

On HL16000HD(N)/HL16000Dsx+(N)/HL12000HD/HL10000HD/HL12000/HL8000Dsx+
To use this software, MM-WARP board must be equipped.

On HT1100
Verifying the version

  • TTurn on the projector and then select [Information] → [4] from the menu.
  • If [Firmware] in [Version] indicates " Ver1.04 " or later, the projector is supported by the software.
    To update the firmware, read the " Firmware : Update Software " section of [Sofware & Driver].
  • Select the [Detailed Mode] for LAN connection. When the [Simple Mode] is selected, the projector name will not be displayed in the [Projector List] window.

On MMS1000
To use this software, MM-WARP board must be equipped. The [U & D symmetry] and [R & L symmetry] of Correct Linearity function are not supported.

On MT1065 / MT1060
Verifying the version

  • Turn on the projector and then select [Help] → [Information] → [Page 4] from the menu.
  • If [Firmware] in [Version] indicates " Ver. 1.09 " or later, the projector is supported by the software.
  • If there is no [Page 4] in [Help]-[Information], you need to replace the firmware with the latest one.
    To update the firmware, read the " Firmware : Update Software " section of [Sofware & Driver].

On VT770
Verifying the version

  • Turn on the projector and then select [Information] → [4] from the menu.
  • If [Firmware] in [Version] indicates "Ver1.03" or later, the projector is supported by the software.
    To update the firmware, read the " Firmware : Update Software " section of [Sofware & Driver].

There are five ways to make connections as follows:

  1. Connection using a serial port :
    A serial cable is required.
  2. Connection using the USB port :
    A USB cable is required.
  3. Connection using a LAN port :
    A LAN cable is required.
  4. Connection using a wired LAN card :
    A wired LAN card and a LAN cable are required.
  5. Connection using a wireless LAN card :
    A wireless LAN card is required.

  • *Select the [Detailed Mode] for LAN connection.

  • The GT5000 and the GT6000 does not come with a USB cable.
  • The LT240K and the LT260K come with a USB cable.
  • The MT1060 and the MT1065 come with a USB cable.
  • The MT1075 comes with a USB cable.
  • A serial cable, LAN cable, wired LAN card and wireless LAN card are sold separately.
  • The MMS1000 and HL16000HD(N)/HL16000Dsx+(N)/HL12000HD/HL10000HD/HL12000/HL8000Dsx+ do not come with a USB cable.

Installation instruction

When installing / uninstalling software in Windows Vista, you must log on as a user with " Administrator" rights.
When installing / uninstalling software in Windows XP, you must log on as a user with "Computer Administrator" rights.
For Windows 2000, log on as a user with "Administrators" rights.
